Families in Baker are mourning the loss of a young soldier after getting the news that 23-year-old Preston Medley was killed in Afghanistan early Tuesday morning. Medley, who was in the Army, was killed by a roadside bomb about 3 a.m. on Tuesday. Family members contributed these photographs of Medley, from his childhood to the birth of his own child.
